Ho Chi Minh city formerly well renowned as Saigon is situated in the southern part of Vietnam. This modern city used to be considered as the Pearl of the Orient. The tour will bring visitors to explore Vietnam’s biggest and most acitve city, visit the famous guerilla base Cu Chi tunnels and a part of Mekong Delta life.

DAY 1: HO CHI MINH CITY – CU CHI TUNNELS (L)
A two – hour drive to Cu Chi tunnels, the impressive network of tunnels with the length of over 250km, otherwise known as the “Iron Triangle” or “Iron Land”. Start this comprehensive excursion with a short film and presentation about Cu Chi tunnels structure – Explore the maze of tunnels, visit the gates, booby traps, underground hospitals, worships, smokeless kitchens, commander bunkers, etc. and enjoy the life saving food tapioca which is the main diet in Cu Chi during the war.
Lunch (optional: Vietnamese local meal) before getting back to Ho Chi Minh to visit Reunification palace, was home and command center of General Nguyen Van Thieu (the first President of South Vietnam was assassinated in 1963), visit the nearby French colonial General Post Office, the Norte Dame Cathedral, the Chinese influent Jade Emperor Pagoda, China town and Binh Tay market which is the central market in China town with its long establish and history of the early day of Saigon.
Overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
DAY 2: HO CHI MINH – MEKONG DELTA (L)
Two – hour drive to Tien Giang province, visit Vinh Trang Pagoda on the way which is one of the most ancient pagodas in this province. Get on your boat to on Tien river, through 4 islets: Dragon, Lion, Turtle, Phoenix islets, then Thoi Son islet to enjoy seasonal local tropical fruits that grown from the region and Southern Vietnamese traditional opera performance. Have lunch on Phoenix islet, rowing through to many channels and enjoy tea, bee’s honey, etc. Visit local industries: coconut candy and handicraft.
Visit Dong Tam snake farm which is one of the country’s largest snake – raising centers before getting back to Ho Chi Minh city, overnight in Ho Chi Minh city.
